Into the Woods...

Couple of things...

1.  I seem to be musically driven even though I have no particular gifts in that area.

2.  I like bright colors.

Here is another piece that actually ended up being named.  I don't know why it is that some pieces I find/buy sing to me, but they do.  Right away the lines on this particular piece said fairy tale.  Which immediately took me to "Into the Woods" one of my favorite musicals.  Probably because it presents so many lovely fairy tales in one fell swoop!  I knew my DIY Paint line was releasing a new red color and I found the most perfect little knobs and voila`, Little Red was born.

This gorgeous, rich color is Marquee.  Debi Beard nailed this color.  It is so saturated and deep and alive!

I am aware that this hardware was most likely intended to be a fox.  I'm pretending it could also be a wolf, but really we're in the woods so it really doesn't matter much does it?  Creative license.

I decided to leave the back paneling alone as it fit my interpretation for the sideboard.

Works pretty well with my Fiesta Ware collection doesn't it?

"Into the woods, into the woods..."  The movie was good, but if you ever get a chance to see the filmed Broadway production it was great!  It's on my NY bucket list!
